26-year-old Luigi Mangione has been formally charged in New York with the murder of Brian Thompson, the CEO of the American health insurer UnitedHealth. Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg announced this at a press conference on Tuesday evening. The eleven charges against him include murder, murder as a terrorist act, illegal possession of weapons and possession of a fake driver’s license.
