The 31-year-old man who was arrested last Monday after a robbery of a snack bar in Meppel will remain in custody for 14 days longer.
Three robberies were committed in Meppel within two weeks. In addition to the robbery of the snack bar in Woldstraat, a shop in the same street and a beauty salon on Touwstraat were also robbed.
The police are investigating whether the man was also involved in those robberies.
Cameras were installed in Touwstraat and Woldstraat after the second robbery.
