The “Survivors Home” opened in Wilmersdorf with prominent guests as a place of self-care for cancer patients and the people around them. “This is unique because it is a meeting place for those directly affected by the disease, but also for those indirectly affected such as relatives, friends and life partners,” said bestselling author Sebastian Fitzek of the dpa at the event on Monday evening.
