Surveillance images show how a man deliberately drives into a police vehicle during a check in Schaerbeek: “Attempted murder”

During a routine check in Brabantstraat in Schaarbeek, a police patrol from the Brussels North Police Zone became the target of an attack on Saturday morning. A driver drove straight at the officers and into their vehicle at a high rate of speed. They were able to avoid the danger in time, but the impact was significant. “The officers involved are extremely shocked,” says police spokesperson Audrey Dereymaeker.
