Will Nicolas Jackson stay at FC Bayern beyond June 30, 2026? The German record player Lothar Matthäus has now revealed that the answer to this question does not have to be a clear no.
Bayern coach Vincent “Kompany is convinced of Jackson and he would have liked to keep him in Munich. But he is too expensive,” explains Matthäus on “Sky90”, but then restricts that there is definitely a back door: “Kompany has stated internally that he would like to keep Jackson, but of course probably at a certain price that his employer Chelsea will not necessarily accept.”
FC Chelsea is unlikely to accommodate FC Bayern
Officially, the Munich team is said to have agreed to a purchase obligation when he was on loan, which would come into effect if Jackson had been in the starting line-up for 40 games.
