Surprising turnaround at Kai Havertz

There are signs of a surprising turnaround in FC Bayern’s search for a striker: according to a report, the record champions are now courting national player Kai Havertz again.

Last season, FC Bayern suffered from the lack of an accurate number nine, the loss of goalgetter Robert Lewandowski weighed more heavily than expected.

It has long been clear and has been publicly confirmed by the club bosses that a new center forward at the top level is at the top of Munich’s shopping list in the summer.

Most recently, Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Victor Osimhen (SSC Napoli), Randal Kolo Muani (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus Turin) on Säbener Straße were considered the most promising applicants.

According to information from the “Sky” transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, however, an old acquaintance is back in the race: Accordingly, FC Bayern’s interest in Kai Havertz, which has meanwhile cooled, has flared up again.

The 24-year-old from Chelsea has often been traded with the German industry leader, but as is well known, an agreement was never reached.

FC Bayern open to Thomas Tuchel’s request

Now Thomas Tuchel is said to be the driving force behind the renewed courtship for Havertz: The FC Bayern coach knows the offensive man from their times together in London and appreciates his qualities.

Nagelsmann’s successor is said to have met with open ears from his superiors, after all, Havertz would probably be much cheaper than the other candidates, which would probably cost 100 million euros or more.

Allegedly, concrete information on the possible transfer conditions has already been obtained. The current working paper of the DFB star at Chelsea is still valid until 2025.

However, Arsenal FC is also heavily involved in Havertz’s poker game. According to Plettenberg, the Gunners currently have the edge.
