Leroy Sané will appear for Galatasaray in the future, and his arrival in Istanbul has triggered jubilee storms around the Turkish champion. Finally, it was said that despite two remaining weeks of contract, the international would no longer appear for FC Bayern at the club World Cup in the USA. But now everything is different.
As confirmed on Thursday evening, FC Bayern and Galatasaray agreed that Leroy Sané can compete for the German record champion at the club World Cup until June 30th.
The 29-year-old is scheduled to arrive at the Munich team camp on Friday in Orlando and could therefore be used in all group games and a possible round of 16.
“If the player has a different offer and accepts it, it is completely normal. This is legitimate, and that there is no resentment, the joint decision also shows that he will still be with us the group games and the possible round of 16 at the club World Cup,” said FCB sports director Max Eberl at a press talk in Orlando.

Sané had previously said goodbye to FC Bayern with an emotional statement. After “five intensive years” he decided to start a new chapter, the wing striker wrote on social networks.
He was “incredibly proud to have played the jersey of the best and largest club in Germany in more than 200 games” and will always appreciate the titles won together.
Legal in salary at FC Bayern for Sané too big
Sané switched from Manchester City to FC Bayern in the summer of 2020 for almost 50 million euros, where he was only able to convince in phases. His contract on Säbener Strasse expires on June 30th.
The 70-time international was one of the top earners in Munich and, after tough negotiations, should not have agreed with a significant drop in salary.
Before his planned signature, Sané had already been received by hundreds of fans in Istanbul. Sané carried a Galatasaray scarf around his neck and was sung after he got out of the plane.
