A prominent NFL name will play in Germany in the future. As a franchise announced on Friday, Quarterback Tayia Tagovailoa changes to the European League of Football.

The Hamburg Sea Devils announced their transfer coup on Friday and was pleased that they succeeded in this new addition.

“The change from Toulia Tagovailoa is not only a real coup for the Sea Devils, but also a strong sign of the development of the eleven. The fact that a quarterback with this college background decides for our league shows how far we have come in international perception,” said eleven commissioner Patrick Esume. The eleven is “also on the radar in North America. This is a win for the whole league, for all teams, players and fans in Europe.”

Of course, his brother Tua, who came to the Miami Dolphins in 2020, is more better known than Toulia. With an average annual salary of $ 53.1 million, it is one of the ten highest paid players of the NFL. He rank 6th.

Tagovailoa was on college for five years

TAULIA TAGOVAILOA played a season in 2019 like his brother for the University of Alabama, then four years for the University of Maryland. Most recently, the 25-year-old was under contract with the Canadian Football League (CFL) at the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Tagovailoa is scheduled to make his debut on May 31st in the Weser Stadium in Bremen against Stuttgart Surge.

In 46 games for both colleges, Tagovailoa brought it to 11,356 Passing Yards and 77 touchdowns with only 37 interceptions. Meanwhile, he brought 67.1 percent of his passports to the man and in 2024 led the big ten conference with 3377 yards and 25 touchdowns, but also 11 interceptions.

The obligation became necessary because quarterback Micah Leon suffered a hand injury last weekend in the opening game at the Madrid Bravos (12:13). Moritz Maack replaced the American quarterback.
