Surprise: Belle and Sebastian will release their new album LATE DEVELOPERS (very) soon

Belle and Sebastian unexpectedly announced their new album LATE DEVELOPERS for Friday (January 13th).

The Scottish band around singer Stuart Murdoch was founded in 1996. Since then, eleven studio records have been released, most recently her work A BIT OF PREVIOUS in May 2022.

Belle and Sebastian: Back in Glasgow

On Instagram, the band explains: “We recorded the album in Glasgow during the same sessions as A BIT OF PREVIOUS and are excited to finally release this new collection of songs!” , but due to the pandemic, the group has had to fall back on their hometown of Glasgow. After FOLD YOUR HANDS CHILD, YOU WALK LIKE A PEASANT (2000), this (and now also the announced LATE DEVELOPERS) was the first work in their band’s history to be recorded there again.
