PARAMARIBO – Unknown persons transported the body of Desi Bouterse to his home in Leonsberg, from an unknown location. The police heard this from a householder during a visit to the home of the Surinamese ex-president. A criminal investigation into the death of ex-president Desi Bouterse is underway in Suriname, in which several people are being questioned, the police reported on Wednesday evening local time.
