Judge Stephen Breyer, 83, who sits on the U.S. Supreme Court, will resign. That reports the American news channel NBC. Breyer is one of three remaining progressive justices on the nine-member Supreme Court, which currently has a conservative majority. It is now up to US President Joe Biden to nominate a successor to him.
