The decisions of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) have been announced. Hatayspor Coach Volkan Demirel was given a warning; Falette from Hatayspor was banned from 2 matches. PFDK also fined Galatasaray 56 thousand TL.
The statement from TFF is as follows:
“ATAKAŞ HATAYSPOR Club coach VOLKAN DEMİREL was punished with a DECISIONAL PENALTY for violating the instructions for not hanging his accreditation card visibly around his neck in the ATAKAŞ HATAYSPOR-DUZCE CAM DUZCESPOR Ziraat Turkish Cup competition played on 19.10.2022,
In the same competition, ATAKAŞ HATAYSPOR Club athlete SIMON AUGUSTIN FALETTE was awarded the 43rd and 35/4th FDT due to his violent behavior towards the opponent team athlete. Being punished with 2 OFFICIAL COMPETITIONS and 17.500.-TL MONEY FINE, pursuant to the articles of the FDT and by applying the 13th article of the FDT,
It has been decided that GALATASARAY A.Ş. will be penalized with 56.000.-TL MONEY PENALTY due to field incidents caused by its supporters in the GALATASARAY A.Ş.-GMG KASTAMONUSPOR Ziraat Turkish Cup competition played on 19.10.2022.
