Presenter of Suomipop Juho Keskitalo published by In the Instagram Stories section a story about his train trip, during which he noticed that the young people were in an unpleasant situation. The story is available for viewing 24 hours after publication.

Keskitalo was on the way from Helsinki to Järvenpää, when a confused trio of men sat down next to the young women sitting in the lodge next door.

– You could see from those men that they were not quite in this world. Then when people passed by, they shouted what they were doing, like praising someone’s nipples, Keskitalo tells Iltalehte.

The young people began to exchange glances, because they guessed that the men’s conversation would soon turn to them. After watching the situation for a while, Keskitalo decided to let the young women off the hook.

– I thought for a moment how to get out of this nicely so that no one gets provoked or starts shouting.

In the end, Keskitalo figured out what to do.

– I said Anna and Elisa. My boxing friend Tomi just sent a message that he’s sitting over there, will you come to say hello?

The young people understood what it was all about and agreed to set off with Keskitalo. They looked for the conductor on the train and told him about the situation.

Old gimmick

Keskitalo says that the gimmick to get the young people out of an unpleasant situation was familiar to him from the backpacking trips he traveled alone years ago.

– Whenever there have been some strange guys who ask if I’m traveling alone, I’ve said that the guy is in a hostel and is known for having boxed together for 15 years.

The now effective white lie saved the young people from an uncomfortable situation. A week after the incident, he received a message on Instagram.

Another of the young people in the situation had watched television and seen Suomipop’s advertisement in which Keskitalo appears.

– He recognized it and sent a message saying, “Are you the guy?” And that’s why I shared this now on insta.
