Sunday trend: SPD wins one point, Union loses it

BERLIN (Dow Jones)–The Union lost slightly in approval in the first week of the year. In the Sunday trend, which the opinion research institute INSA collects weekly for Bild am Sonntag, the CDU and CSU come to 31 percent this week, which is one percentage point less than in the previous week. The SPD, on the other hand, gained one point and reached 16 percent this week. The AfD can maintain its high figures of 23 percent from the previous week. The Greens remain stable at 12 percent, the FDP at 5 percent and the Left at 4 percent. The other parties could still get 9 percent of the votes (including 3 percent from Free Voters).
