The Noord-Hollandpad
This edition of De Zomertoer walks presenter Koen Bugter on the Noord-Hollandpad. The main route of this long -distance hiking trail is 284 kilometers long and runs from De Cocksdorp on Texel to the port of Huizen, or vice versa.
The path is spread over 16 stages, ranging from 10 to 25 km. By walking the path you experience the variation of the North Holland landscape: beach, open water, ditches, dikes, fields, heathland and forest. In addition to the beautiful nature, you also discover the rich history of the area by passing old villages and special remains from the past.
