Today it is a rainy day, and there are several showers on the program. The temperature lingers at 17 to 18 degrees. After tonight it will gradually become a bit drier again.

From next night there will be more clearings in the province. “From Wednesday the weather will change through a high -pressure area above our region,” says Visser. “That causes a lot of sun, little rainfall and considerably rising temperatures.”

Summer glow

From Thursday there will be a summer glow over the province, with temperatures that can rise to around 28 degrees. On Texel it remains slightly cooler, with temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees.

Friday will be the hottest day of the week, then it will be 29 degrees. “It will be a bit more humid,” says Visser. “From Friday evening some rain can fall again.”

That moist air will also continue on Saturday. On Saturday it stays warm with 25 to 30 degrees, but the air is sultry and there is a chance of a sturdy rain or thunderstorm.
