Summary: No North Holland final in the hall: Lebo loses to Eindhoven

The final for the national championship in futsal is between Hovocubo and FC Eindhoven. The team from Brabant were clearly too strong for ASV Lebo in the deciding game this afternoon. After an exciting first half, the home team ran out after the break: 7-2.

“I am very proud of them. We can make it difficult for a championship candidate with about six internationals. The individual quality made the difference today,” said Lebo trainer Zaid el Morabiti.

Excellent start

Lebo, who had won the first game and Friday lost, got off to a good start. Via Saber ben Khalou it became 0-1 within ten minutes. Yet it was FC Eindhoven that struck the clock. An own goal and goals from Jordany Martinus and Saïd Bouzambou made it 3-1.

Omar Tissoudali reduced tension by making it 3-2 just before half-time. Ayoub Boukhari (twice), Bouzambou again and Bilal Achenteh ensured that FC Eindhoven ran out to 7-2 in the second half.

The final of the play-offs for the national title between Hoornse Hovovubo and FC Eindhoven starts on Friday. The second duel in the best-of-three is on Friday 17 June. A possible decision game is on Sunday 19 June.
