KZ has expressed great ambitions for the Korfball League. The team wants to reach the play-offs for the national championship under the leadership of trainer/coach Tim Bakker. The korfball players of Blauw-Wit were able to offer some good resistance in the initial phase up to 9-9. The Zaankanters then accelerated and were at 9-16 in no time.
That wide margin was never in danger for a moment in the second half. Partly due to the scoring drive of De Vries, Haars and Kevin Dik, among others. The victory means KZ remains joint top scorer in the Korfball League with DVO. The next match is against DOS’46, while Blauw-Wit travels to Harderwijk for the meeting with Unitas.
