Suicoke is collaborating with the Drake label Ovo

Suicoke and Ovo, the brand owned by rapper Drake, have teamed up again for SS22. Ovo gave two classics from the Japanese label new accents.

The Pepper Low and Bower Boot models feature the Ovo-typical owl – as a subtle graphic but also in an extravagant all-over print that forms a stark contrast to the rather minimalist design language of both labels.

The silhouette of the ankle-high shoes is reminiscent of neoprene diving shoes, the higher version of padded snow boots. The flat model also comes in “Safety Orange” and the taller boot in “Woodland Owl Camo,” a fancy owl print reminiscent of camouflage, according to a statement last week.

In December, Suicoke and Ovo collaborated for the first time – similar to the second edition of the collaboration, well-known shoe models from Suicoke were presented with new colors.

Founded in Japan in 2006, Suicoke is best known for its variety of sandals and slippers. Suicoke regularly collaborates with other fashion brands such as APC and Dr. martens Ovo – short for “October’s Very Own” – was founded by rapper Drake, his manager Oliver El-Khatib and music producer Noah Shebib as a lifestyle brand with a focus on fashion.

The Suicoke x Ovo collection has been available since Friday in the Suicoke and Ovo online shops, as well as in Ovo’s stationary points of sale.
