The women who accuse Marius of, among other things, rape and abuse are demanding compensation that feels like a bonus prince.

Marius Borg Høiby’s alleged victims demand substantial compensation, reports VG. The trial against the first-born son of Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit ends on Thursday in Oslo.

A total of six women demand financial compensation from Marius. In total, the required sums are more than 1.9 Norwegian kroner, or about 175,000 euros.

The hardest compensation is demanded by the woman called the “Lofoten woman”, whom Marius is accused of raping. The woman demands around 400,000 kroner, i.e. 36,000 euros, in compensation.

Marius is also accused of raping three other women without intercourse. “Jatkok nain” demands compensation of at least 260,000 kroner, or about 24,000 euros.

The “hotel lady” demands compensation of 260,000 kroner. In addition to this, a compensation claim of approximately 230,000 kroner, i.e. approximately 21,000 euros, has been submitted for lost earnings.

The “Party Lady” also demands compensation of a good 260,000 kroner. In addition, compensation of 60,000 kroner, or about 5,500 euros, is required for lost earnings.

Two other women also demand financial compensation from Marius. The “Frogner woman” demands compensation of 250,000 kroner, or about 23,000 euros. Marius is accused of assaulting his ex-partner, harassment, sexual harassment and violating a restraining order.

Marius’ ex-girlfriend, Nora Haukland, demands compensation of a good 200,000 kroner, or about 19,000 euros. Of this amount, 50,000 kroner, or about 4,500 euros, is compensation for the burden caused by media pressure. Marius is accused of domestic violence against Haukland, known as an influencer and reality TV star. Haukland is the only alleged victim to appear publicly under his own name in the case.

The prosecutor presented his own punishment request earlier on Wednesday. The prosecutor demands a prison sentence of seven years and seven months for Marius. 63 days have been deducted from the required imprisonment, as Marius has been imprisoned several times already.

In addition, the prosecutor demands that the driver’s license be denied, the devices be confiscated, and that Marius be prevented from contacting the Frogner woman for two years.

According to VG, it can take months before the verdict is read. The final verdict will be decided by the judges.

According to VG, Marius can be required to pay compensation even if he were to be acquitted of criminal charges, as the legal processes for damages and criminal convictions are different.

A verdict is required for Marius on a total of 39 criminal charges. In addition to the crimes mentioned earlier in the story, Marius is accused of, among other things, several drug crimes, speeding and resisting official authority.

Marius is Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s firstborn son from a previous relationship. Marius has no royal title.
