The fast food chain Subway will stop selling Päivän Subi products in all Subway restaurants in Finland. The company will tell you about it on their website.

In its announcement, Subway justifies the decision with exceptional hours and price increases.

– The very extraordinary times and the rise in prices have had a concrete effect on the everyday life of all of us, including our Subway entrepreneurs. For this reason, the Subi of the Day offer, which has been with us for over a decade, will be removed from all Subway restaurants.

– Unfortunately, our entrepreneurs no longer have the opportunity to give the offer in question due to the increased costs, it is written on the chain’s website.

Country manager of Subway Finland Kati Litmanen tells for MTVthat in addition to raw material costs, especially the rise in the price of energy has had its share in the activities of restaurant chain entrepreneurs.

According to Litmanen, Päivän Subi was in the chain’s selection for 18 years.

It would seem that the Subi offer of the day can still be found, for example, on the lists of Subway in Sweden and the Netherlands. “Sub Of The Day” costs 3.90 euros in the Netherlands.

Suomen Subway says that in the future it will invest in its loyalty program, through which the restaurant chain’s customers can still get bargain-priced bread.
