A goal by Jayden Addai in stoppage time leaves AZ with one point in the confrontation with Willem II, 1-1. And that is the umpteenth time that the young Alkmaarders deliver a good performance against one of the high flyers from the first division. Young Ajax did less well. Dave Vos’ team lost 1-2 to TOP Oss at home.
Normally, Maarten Martens has a few players from the main selection for matches on Monday evenings. Not this time, because of AZ’s European away match against Lazio. Nevertheless, the very young players of the Belgian coach held up well against Willem II.

Although the match for Jong AZ started quite dramatically. After twenty minutes, the Alkmaar talents faced a 0-2 deficit at the training complex in Wijdewormer. Kay Tejan
