(toskanews) — Thirty years of music together, always innovative and beyond the norm: i Subsonic celebrate this milestone with Rare Earthsthe eleventh album by the Turin band. Not a self-celebratory greatest hits, but a work that is the fruit of one newfound creative understanding.

The record is political and dense: we talk about war and bordersa journey into the present time with its shadows and glimmers of humanity. «In our records there is always the story of life. The first song we wrote was reciting Fear of the different, fear of the possiblewhich is exactly what we talk about in Foreignerour latest single.”
To celebrate the thirtieth anniversary, the program Skies over Turin 96-26 includes four special concerts at OGR Turin (already sold out) and a series of events in the city until April 12between exhibitions and sound itineraries. «It is exciting to see our history under the porticoes of Turin, in the places that helped write it. They will be incredible concerts, all different, with new shades».
Afterwards, the band will be the protagonist of the main summer festivals with the tour Rare earths 96-26 departing on June 26th.
