Strike by two drivers gets out of control – man dragged along on the bonnet

In Charlottenburg-Nord, two drivers got into an argument on Tuesday morning for reasons that were previously unknown – and it escalated tremendously!

According to the police and witness statements, two drivers stopped at 9.35 a.m. on Max-Dohrn-Strasse at the entrance to a parking lot next to each other on the road in the direction of Lise-Meitner-Strasse.

A loud verbal argument is said to have erupted between the 46-year-old Opel driver and the other driver, who remained unknown.

The stranger is said to have subsequently got out of his vehicle and sprayed the 46-year-old with an irritant through the open window of the passenger door. The Opel driver is said to have left his car and stood on the road.

The other driver is said to have driven his car towards the 46-year-old, accelerated and caught the Opel driver, who is said to have remained lying on the bonnet as a result.

With the man on the hood, the stranger is said to have braked abruptly after about 50 meters in the direction of Lise-Meitner-Strasse, so that the 46-year-old fell onto the road and injured himself.

Without taking care of the injured person, the driver of the dark blue car, possibly a VW or a BMW, is said to have driven away in the direction of Lise-Meitner-Strasse.

Several passers-by who had seen the incident alerted the police and fire brigade. Rescue workers took the injured man to a hospital, where his head, shoulder and eye injuries are being treated.

The police are investigating.
