Stricter rules around section checks: municipalities are not allowed to use cameras just to make money

The Flemish government is tightening the rules for new section checks in Flanders. These new rules should put an end to section checks as a revenue model. This is what Flemish Minister of the Interior Hilde Crevits (CD&V) and Minister of Mobility Annick De Ridder (N-VA) say. They have sent the new rules to the local authorities via a circular.
