Stranzl or Xhaka? Captain’s question is open

After the return of the long injured Martin Stranzl, the question of a captain at Borussia Mönchengladbach is open again. Coach André Schubert had chosen Granit Xhaka as the new team leader after Stranzl’s injury. But in the first test match with the two Gladbach pros last Tuesday against Hertha BSC, Stranzl wore the captain’s armband again. The Austrian passed it on to Xhaka after half-time, although Stranzl himself was still on the pitch. Before the start of the second half of the season against Dortmund, the captain’s question is open.
