Finn Wolfhard will take the director’s chair later this month. The nineteen year old Stranger Thingsstar is partnering with 22-year-old actor Billy Bryk (Ghostbusters: Afterlife) to direct a film the two wrote together.
It’s about a horror comedy that Hell of a Summer is going to be called and is set during a summer camp. Jason Bateman (Ozark) is one of the film’s producers.
In a press release, Wolfhard says he is very much looking forward to co-directing his first full-length film. The teenager previously directed a short and directed a music clip.
Wolfhard scored his first television role at the age of twelve, in a series The 100† Since 2016 he can be seen as Mike Wheeler in Stranger Thingsand starred in the movies it (2017) and It: Chapter Two (2019) the role of Richie Tozier.
