Storm claims at least 12 lives in California, home of Oprah, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle evacuated

In the US state of California, at least 12 people have died due to the persistent storms. Due to increased risk of mudslides and floods, 25,000 people were evacuated on Monday, including all residents of the wealthy star enclave of Montecito. The luxurious villas in the city are threatened by mudslides.
