“Stop digging the grave”

‘Save me’ was until recently going through a very bad streak which caused the program to activate a series of changes. However, this crisis has been resolved or at least slowed down in recent weeks and especially in this one, when the news of Anabel Pantoja’s breakup broke.

After the good data on Monday, a 17.9% share and 1,816,000 viewers compared to 16.5% for ‘Tierra amarga’, Jorge Javier echoed live yesterday: “We have to say it, because we assume other things and these too. People are so committed to ‘Sálvame’ and the crisis… Well, the title of this story could be ‘This dead man is very alive”, he commented before the applause of the public.

“We have been a few weeks now, and yesterday with Anabel Pantoja, that the audience was stratospheric,” said the presenter, who added: “For now stop digging the grave that we continue here Or that they dig it, but to put others in.”

The truth is the ruptures of Olga Moreno and Antonio David, the infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarín and the recent one of Pantoja with Omar Sánchez They have helped the program to be at a great moment in terms of content, which has translated into an improvement in the audience.

Beyond these issues, ‘Sálvame’ has had an important novelty for a few weeks. The ‘lemon’ edition became an external program entitled ‘lemon tea’, with another fool and with other presenters, Maria Patiño and Terelu Campos. Although the data for this slot has not changed much, it seems that it has managed to boost the main block of the program, the ‘orange’ edition.
