The Italian outerwear specialist Stone Island is moving its Paris flagship to 223 Rue St. Honoré.
The store in the first arrondissement offers more than 200 square meters of retail space and follows the brand’s global retail concept, Robert Triefus, CEO of Stone Island, announced on Wednesday on the career network Linkedin. To achieve this, Stone Island worked with the architecture and design firm OMA/AMO.
In the historic building, design elements such as dark, structured cork walls meet materials such as stainless steel and glass. Design pieces such as lights by Tim Hooijmans from De Studio round off the concept. The otherwise rather simple shop lights up in some corners with color elements in red and green.
