A car burned out on Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of the old garbage dump on Fortweg in Emmen. The car was registered as stolen.
The fire started just after 3 p.m. and was already ablaze when the fire brigade arrived. The fire was extinguished, but the car was completely burned out. There was no one at the car, and the parking lot was otherwise deserted.
The police suspect that the fire was deliberately lit and are conducting further investigations.
