Stoic Lucinda Brand races to a second world title in Hulst, also silver and bronze for the Netherlands

Lucinda Brand has fulfilled her role of favorite at the Cyclo-Cross World Championships. The 36-year-old cyclocross rider crossed the finish line solo in Hulst, Netherlands. She defeated Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado, who finished second. Despite a fall, Puck Pieterse crossed the line in third place and thus completed the Dutch podium.
