In the infamous al-Hol detention camp, in the northeastern Syrian province of al-Hassakeh, thousands of people live in shocking conditions. The Syrian Ministry of the Interior announced this at a press conference in Damascus on Wednesday. Government forces took over the camp early this year after fighting with Kurdish forces.
