Lianne Verheij-Oelbers (37) was an account manager with a busy life, until she was diagnosed at the age of 32: Legius syndrome, a rare condition in which brain signals do not reach the body properly. Since then she has walked with a cane, lived on the couch and had to choose every day which child she could pick up.
