Sterling saves Chelsea from early crisis

Big football buyers FC Chelsea celebrated their first win in the English Premier League at the third attempt, mainly thanks to double packer Raheem Sterling.

The Blues beat newly promoted Luton Town 3-0 (1-0), Sterling (17′, 68′) scored after assists from Malo Gusto. The third goal was scored by Nicolas Jackson (75′) on a Sterling pass.

At the start of the season, the Londoners drew 1-1 against Liverpool under team manager Jürgen Klopp, but then lost 3-1 at West Ham United.

In the current transfer window, Chelsea have signed new players for more than 400 million euros, including Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo for a record transfer fee of 133 million.
