The farewell letter from the English player

Raheem Sterling bade farewell to Manchester City after his arrival at Chelsea. After seven years with the shirt of Citizensthe English striker will remain in the Premier League by joining Thomas’ court Tuchel. Thanks to his 337 appearances and 131 goals he is one of the most prolific players in the history of the club and right now he has published, through his social profiles, a letter in which he pays tribute to the club and to the fans of the City. These are his words:

“Seven seasons, eleven important trophies, a lifetime of memories. To the coaching staff who have played an important role in my development over the years, to my teammates who have become more than those with whom I share a pitch, to the staff of the backroom, to the office staff, to the fans who have tirelessly supported the team and to everyone involved with Manchester City, my respect for you couldn’t be greater. What a journey it has been. I am grateful for the ups and downs . Because it is the basses that, at times, have tested my strength and determination, and have allowed me to stand here in front of you as the best possible version of myself. I arrived in Manchester at 20, today I leave for men. Thank you for your endless support. It was an honor to wear the Manchester City jersey. “
