Thanks to the mysterious Instagram teaser of the band, you could already guess that there is something in the bush. But nobody could really believe that Stereolab would actually knock out an entire album. Finally, they toured again, showed themselves with joy, but fans waited in vain for a record. Now it is clear: On May 23, Instant Holograms on Metal Film will come out the first LP after 15 years.
Everything for a new publication at an overview
The album is said to contain thirteen baptismal songs, written by Laetitia Sadier and Tim Gane, recorded by the tour band Andy Ramsay, Joe Watson, Xavi Muñoz together with Sadir and Gane. A first single can already be heard from Instant HOLOGRAMS on Metal film. “Aerial Troubles” is the name of the harbinger that can be experienced with music video.
