Step by step, very ambitious Huizen dreams of a national volleyball title: “Final goal”

Ninth place in the rankings does not yet correspond to Huizen’s ambitions. The volleyball club from Het Gooi would love to compete for prizes in the Premier League. And they now know in Huizen that this is a long-term process. “Everyone has to take steps.”

“That is our ultimate goal,” says the driven Jan Kos about Huizen’s title aspirations. The chairman understands that something like this takes time and speaks of a multi-year plan that lasts between five and ten years.

This weekend, national champion Dynamo came to visit. After an hour of volleyball, the score was 0-3 and a clear defeat for Huizen. “We have to recognize that Dynamo is the much better team at the moment,” said experienced Sjoerd Hoogendoorn.
