The most important news first: “The Stefan Raab Show” will run twice a week from now on. After viewers recently fled in droves, there is also a new broadcast slot.
In his “Jungle Camp” special “The Half Hour After the Hour After,” the presenter said: “Of course our show will continue after the jungle weeks and then even more often. We’ll be coming twice a week soon.”
RTL therefore believes that “the whole of Germany is in a state of joy,” as one clip said. But at least the new times were betrayed. Accordingly, from February 10th, “The Stefan Raab Show” will run exclusively on RTL+ on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. and on RTL on Thursdays at 11:15 p.m. – i.e. at the best late-night time like “TV Total” used to be. As industry experts report, the increased concentration on RTL+ is planned for a longer period of time.
No success for Stefan Raab in prime time
However, Raab didn’t really seem to get the prime time allocation in the main program. He made headlines not only with lousy ratings, but also with sayings and actions below the belt. They should be much more welcome on a later time slot.
Until then, the entertainer wants to score points with IBES special programs three more times. Further episodes will be available on February 3rd, 4th and 5th. Each event starts at 11:30 p.m.
Anyone who longs to go back to the old days with Raab will soon have the opportunity to do so, according to a message from the Cologne private broadcaster. Old editions of “TV Total” and “Schlag den Raab” will soon be added to the RTL+ media library.
In the spring Raab’s quiz show “Who knows how when what was?” on air alongside Barbara Schöneberger. An “entertaining quiz journey through pop culture, television, music and contemporary history” has been announced, in which the audience can take part.
