Steel from asteroid Bennu hits scientists with stiffening: “We have never seen this before”

The first analysis of the rock and dust that brought the Osiris-Rex spacecraft from NASA back to Earth in 2020 from the Asteroid Bennu show a never-before-seen wealth of building blocks for life in extraterrestrial material. Two studies that appeared today in Nature and Nature Astronomy report this: “This is the kind of discovery that you hope to do.”
