Status Quo tells Iltalehti why they made the oharis for Karjurock

Status Quo arrived at the Karjurock festival as scheduled on Saturday. Fans were disappointed, as the band never took the stage and left the venue.

The Status Quo band was not satisfied with the festival’s arrangements. PDO

The British rock group Status Quo was one of the expected performers of the Karjurock festival. However, fans were disappointed, as the band never took the stage at the festival. The festival organizer previously commented on the matter to Iltalehti, stating that this is an “incomprehensible situation”.

Manager of the band Status Quo Simon Porter commented on the cancellation of the band’s performance by email to Iltalehte.

– The band is very upset to disappoint the fans, but the organizers of the festival did not fully comply with the band’s raider and also the staging requirements, which are an essential part of the contract. Because of this, it was impossible for the band to perform as they and their fans would have expected, says Simon Porter to Iltalehte.

Raideri means the band’s list of requirements for the gig day. This can include food, drinks, accommodation and transportation, security and technical equipment, such as sound or lighting.

Friday’s performance in Finland

Status Quo performed at Tampere Hall on Friday. The event company RH-Entertainment was responsible for the concert arrangements in Tampere.

CEO of the company Riki Huhtala tells Iltalehte that the Tampere concert took place as planned.

– The things that have happened at the Karjurock festival are in our investigation, which is the cause of what, Huhtala commented.

Huhtala has not personally met the band or their background team.

– It’s hard to say if they’re any harder (to please) than any of the others. I don’t know what has been the problem and it is being investigated, Huhtala continues.

Status Quo rock band was founded in 1962. The band members are Francis Rossi, Andy Bowen, John “Rhino” Edwards, Leon Cave and Richie Malone.
