Statements from Vasilije Micic after Olympiakos – Anadolu Efes match! Stay focused…

Vasilije Micic, who recorded the last-second basket that brought Anadolu Efes the final ticket in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four, made a statement to the press after the match.

Micic started his speech by saying that he thanked the whole team and congratulated everyone.

“I HAD TO ATTACK AGAINST FALL”

When asked about what happened in Anadolu Efes’ last timeout, Micic said, “The last timeout was very similar to the timeout in the last game in Piraeus. The coach called me to attack. I had to counterattack Fall. Then the last-second basket came. Today I think it’s a little bit more. I played smart. I didn’t force it, I waited focused until the last moment. If I missed it, it would have gone to overtime, but I threw it out. I’m happy.”

“WE REPRESENT TURKEY, WE ARE VERY PROUD FOR THAT”

Finally, Micic celebrated Turkey’s 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day and said, “I know that May 19 is a holiday. A part of us was with the Turkish nation. Because we represent Turkey. We are very proud for this. I hope this “They feel good with the win. I hope they feel even better.”
