Clubs Union Foundation and Trabzonspor Club President Ertuğrul Doğan expressed his wishes for success to the National Football Team in his written statement and made evaluations regarding the foreign player rule on the agenda.

Referring to the Turkey-Paraguay match, Doğan said, “I wish our National Football Team success in the match they will play. We may have lost our first match, there are such results in football. However, nothing is over yet. We still have the chance to get out of the group. I believe that we will continue on our way by winning the remaining two matches. We trust our players and technical staff. I believe that our National Team is strong enough to achieve this with the support of our nation.” he said.
ABOUT THE FOREIGN RULE
Regarding the 10+4 foreign player rule, which has started to be discussed, Doğan pointed out that they created their season plans, squad structures and transfer strategies according to the announced rule, and stated that many clubs, due to his duty as the President of the Clubs Association Foundation, conveyed their requests for the re-evaluation of the foreign player rule. “There are requests regarding this issue, especially from the teams that will compete in European cups. As the President of the Clubs Association, I will meet with the President of the Turkish Football Federation, Mr. İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, in the coming days regarding the views and opinions of our clubs.” “We will convey his demands to him and hold a comprehensive evaluation meeting.” he said.
