Statement: Criminal proceedings against the Netherlands justified | What you say

Sophie in ‘t Veld, the D66 delegation leader in the European Parliament, is in favor of criminal proceedings against the Netherlands because of the situation in the application center for asylum seekers in Ter Apel. Large numbers of asylum seekers regularly sleep there because the asylum procedure is not getting started and there are too few places to sleep. Would you consider criminal proceedings justified or is that not the case?
