The “Star Wars The Black Series Imperial Death Trooper” helmet from Hasbro Pulse initially impresses with its high-quality workmanship. The matte surface, green-tinted lenses and distinctive shape authentically reproduce the appearance of the Death Troopers from the 2016 “Rogue One” film.
Good, if not perfectly evil, booming electronic voice changer system, which does a good job of replicating the characteristic distorted communication of elite units. The wearing comfort is also good. The inner padding provides support without being restrictive. They make the model suitable for both display and cosplay. The integrated LED elements set accents when worn as well as in the display case. Immersiveness is important, and it’s true here.
Cons
Despite the high-quality implementation, there are some points that should be taken into account. The surface is sensitive to fingerprints and actually requires regular cleaning to maintain its look. The voice changer offers atmosphere, but sometimes sounds a bit metallic depending on the room reverberation (see above).
