It was waiting for money for the last wing of the new hospital in Kennedylaan, but now it will also be the workplace of another 160 employees.
“Twenty years ago, day by day, September 10, 2005 we laid the foundation stone, so 20 years later we are all in one place in Kennedylaan,” says spokesperson Stefaan Lammertyn of AZ Groeninge.
“3,800 employees, 320 doctors and 250 volunteers who take care of the 1000 beds and many patients who are admitted to us. This is more than a milestone. Really an organ point in the master plan that we wrote so many years ago.”
