There was a stabbing at assisted and sheltered housing Jan Arends last night. At least one person was injured. He was taken to a hospital.
The police are at the house to investigate. It is unknown whether any arrests have been made.
At Jan Arends assisted and sheltered housing, 20 people live under 24-hour supervision. The residents are men and women of different ages, all with their own needs for help. They deal with multiple problems that influence each other, such as addiction, psychological problems, debts or lack of structure and daytime activities.
The house on Klenckestraat also has two apartments for people who are taking the first step towards independent living.
