Wants more playing time in Hamburg

FC St. Pauli works on its fourth winter transfer, such as “Cope Mallorca” in Spain and “Het Nieuwsblad” and “DH Les Sports+” from Belgium. Accordingly, central defender Siebes van der Heyden is faced with the Bundesliga team before changing from RCD Mallorca. Actually, a return of the Belgian to his youth club RSC Anderlecht should have been an issue – but this had shattered. Van der Heyden will soon travel to Germany to complete a loan to St. Pauli. In the summer of 2023, the RCD Mallorca had transferred 2.7 million euros to Union SG, the ex-club of FCSP coach Alexander Blessin, for the services of Heydens.
Van der Heyden, the market value of which is estimated at 1.5 million euros, only came in two games for 96 minutes in the current season. His contract runs until June 2028. St. Pauli has already strengthened with center forward Abdoulie Ceesay (21/Paide), the defensive midfielder James Sands (24/New York City) and wing striker Noah Weißhaupt (23, SC Freiburg) .
