Spotify will be able to edit Wrapped in the future.
Spotify is a popular music streaming service. PDO
The streaming service from Spotify has had enough news lately. First, it fired its only Finnish employee whose job it was to curate Finnish playlists.
Then, songs made with artificial intelligence appeared on the accounts of several different artists, such as Tiktak. This situation has since been corrected.
Now Spotify tells about the reform he made, which is related to the Wrapped compilation. In Wrapped, the annual package summary lists songs, artists and podcasts listened to by Spotify users. These Wrapped lists are shared by users all over social media.
Sometimes, so-called guilty pleasure songs, songs that embarrass, and children’s music end up on these lists.
In the future, according to Spotify’s announcement, Wrappedia will be able to edit. So if you don’t want children’s music or otherwise just “embarrassing” music to appear in your most listened to lists, you can remove these songs from the taste profile.
