Should medical screening be mandatory at major sporting events? It is a question that has been discussed for several years. Sports doctor Luk Buyse knows that mandatory screening cannot rule out everything, but believes that “the organization is still somewhat lacking” when it comes to raising awareness of the dangers of exercise.
